The glamorisation of mental health

A collection of self portraits where I explored the glamorisation of mental health, in particular relating to eating disorders.

I wanted to convey in these images how media can sometimes romanticise mental illness through the juxtaposition between the rawness of the moment in the image and the pretty and beautiful connotations of the glitter
