His Touch

A short film I produced, directed, shot and edited about sexual assault.

I found this film one of the most challenging projects I've ever made due to the sensitive subject matter. I really wanted to make sure that nothing in the film came off as insensitive or was harmful. The aim was to bring awareness to how raw and jarring the realities of this subject are.

I learnt a lot about ethics while i was making this film and the duty of care I had to undertake in regards to the actors in the show. As it is a very emotional subject I made sure that neither of them had any history that would make them particularly vulnerable regarding this and made sure that there was good communication between us.
